We are very blessed to have wonderful family and friends! We headed to North Carolina the Friday before Thanksgiving and spent 4 days in Boone, NC with G-Mama. The kids had a wonderful time reading books, playing outside, doing a little bit of work, and clowning around. We had hoped to go snow tubing again this year, but it was just too warm for them to make any snow. We did have wonderful weather...lots of sun and very few clouds.
On the way to Nana and Grandaddy's house, we stopped off at the Lazy Five Ranch in Mooresville, NC. Vince wasn't too sure about it, his favorite part was being on the "wagon train". Savannah enjoyed feeding all of the animals and wanted to stay for another ride.
Aunt Crissy, Gabby, and Eli came over for dinner both nights and we enjoyed great food from Nana. Savannah told her that her food was "much better than Mom's".
Wednesday night we loaded up and drove to Charlotte and spent Thanksgiving weekend with G-Mama, Uncle Gary, and Lin, and Wilson. Gary and Lin recently bought a house so we were able to go visit them and see their new place. It's a great setup and they will have lots of room! Savannah and Vince loved their upstairs playroom the best.
Saturday morning we came back to Macon so that we could get settled back in before they started back to school today. I hope everyone had a restful and peaceful Thanksgiving!
