Savannah Sings in Church
Savannah has been singing with the children's choir for the past few months. She has diligently practiced her songs throughout the weeks and was so excited to wear the official choir robe in church today! We were able to video it and have it posted here. Vince continues to do well, I will include some pictures of him as well. Have a wonderful week and enjoy the cooler weather!

Vince Is Crawling!
We secretly hoped that Vince wouldn't be crawling before Thanksgiving because we will be at all two story homes with staircases! We look forward to another round of babyproofing-covering the outlets, securing drawers and cabinets, etc etc. I was able to capture some of his crawling and pulling up on video and have shared it below.
Halloween Weekend
Savannah and Vince at Martha Bowman's Fall Festival
Savannah had a wonderful time at the Martha Bowman Methodist Church Fall Festival Friday night. She trunk and treated and also played on the inflatables. Her fairy outfit got itchy, so her trick or treating in the neighborhood didn't last long at all. She was very excited to get home and help hand out candy. The only problem was that it was 7:30 and most of the neighborhood kids had already come by. She was able to see two kids ring the doorbell, but went to bed very upset and crying because she didn't get to hand out the candy.
Saturday, she and Vince hung out with Julia...in the morning at church while I had a Presbyterian Women's Meeting, and then that evening at home when Julia's parents and we went out for dinner. Vince is crawling better each day and can pull up now.
Nana made coordinating outfits for the kids and it's just gotten cool enough for them to wear them, so they wore them to church this morning. The pictures don't do the outfits justice-they are very cute, thanks so much for your hardwork Nana!

Weekend Fun!
After the Race for the Cure on Saturday, we made a dash home for naps so that the kids would be rested for Evan's birthday party at 2pm. Savannah woke up right before it was time to leave, so we got her dressed and ready for the party. She had a wonderful time hanging out with Evan and three other members of her soccer team. Vince slept most of the time which made it easier for me to spend time with Savannah and the other parents.

Vince swinging after his nap This evening we attended the Forest Hills Methodist Church's Trunk-or-Treat. Savannah chose to wear her princess outfit that Honey bought for her. We were able to get some pictures at the pumpkin patch with her and Vince dressed up. He is a puppy dog, but you can't really see the puppy head; I think it looks more like a bonnet.

Savannah and Abby (a friend from church)We hope to visit a new pumpkin patch later in the week and plan to attend the Martha Bowman Trunk-or-Treat early evening on Friday...she has three different costumes that she wants to wear, so we figured this was the best way for her to model them!
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
Our whole family participated in the Race for the Cure yesterday at Wesleyan College. Jeff and Savannah did the Celebration Parade/1 mile walk and Vince and I completed the 5K walk. It was a beautiful day to be outside! Our team, the Pink Ribbon Racers, raised over $5500 for the cause! We look forward to being a part of it next year as well.

50th Day of School!
Savannah's Pre-K class celebrated its 50th day of school today by dressing in 1950s attire. For a snack today they had Coke Floats and she really liked that! Savannah had a great time and it was neat to see her teacher walk her out today-she was wearing her hair in a ponytail and had on bobbie socks and a poodle skirt!

A Special Visit from Nana!
Nana decided on Thursday to come to Macon, and it was a real treat for us all to hang out! She was able to see Savannah's last soccer match of the season. Savannah didn't score a goal this week, but the kids played hard and had a good time. She announced that she wants to take "ballerina" lessons next. Not too sure what I think about that...at least with soccer, I can get out and kick the ball with her and run around. Ballet? Um, no chance of mom being up on the stage doing that.

We also had our church picnic today and Savannah and Vince had a wonderful time hanging out with friends from church. Vince looks like he is on the campaign trail in his cute little outfit. Everyone slept well this afternoon and we prepare for an exciting week. Savannah celebrates 50 days of school tomorrow and will dress in "50s" attire. Check back for pictures of that.

Look Dad, It's Big Ben!
Jeff just returned from London and sent Savannah several postcards with Big Ben. He told her all about the historic buildings. So, when we went to the Georgia National Fair in Perry, GA, she saw the clock tower and announced that it was Big Ben!We had a great time, it was a shortened evening due to rain storms and lightning. Savannah did ride a few rides and we took a few pictures. Vince did great, he people watched, then fell asleep.
