We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Florida for Spring Break! We left last Friday and drove to Port Charlotte to visit Jeff's grandfather. The kids loved playing to organ at his house and Savannah picked some oranges from the trees in the backyard. We all went to a Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training baseball game and that was a treat! Attention spans are still way too short, so we left before the game was really going. Actually, the 2nd inning.
After spending the weekend in Port Charlotte, we drove across the state to Orlando where we stayed until today. Jeff took Savannah to Animal Kingdom at Disney World, and she was so excited! We didn't tell her that she was going, so it was a HUGE surprise to her. They rode all of the rides that they wanted to, including the Mt. Everest roller coaster. Judging by the picture of Savannah, it was pretty scary.
Vince had been feeling "under the weather" for about a week, but we thought it was only allergies from the pollen in Macon. When he started pulling on his ears, we took him to see a Nurse Practitioner and she said that he was getting an ear infection. After a few doses of Amoxicillin he was feeling great and back to his "old self."The kids loved spending time with G-Mama, Honey and Uncle Harold, Hal and Mark, and Mary Beth and the cousins. Great new pictures! I'm still laughing about the pic of Savannah on Everest. What a trooper! Will she ever go again - on any roller coaster -- ever? :)
